Welcome to SchoolTools! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our school management platform and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by BELMUTI XXI SL ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SchoolTools is a modular school management platform that provides:

• Scheduler Module: Drag-and-drop lesson scheduling with teacher and subject management
• Lunch Menu Manager Module: Multi-language menu creation and management with public displays
• Google Integration: Seamless integration with Google Sheets for data import and export from the scheduler module
• Multi-language Support: Support for English, Spanish, Catalan, and French in the lunch menu manager module
• Role-based Access: Secure access controls for teachers, administrators, and staff

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use our Service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be authorized by your educational institution to use the Service
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up-to-date

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use our Service only for lawful educational and administrative purposes, including:

• Google Sheets: We access only the Google Sheets you explicitly share with our service account
• We use this data solely for authentication and to provide our scheduling services
• You can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings or by revoking access to your Google Sheets for our service account
• We comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BELMUTI XXI SL and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to our Service. By uploading content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.

7. Service Availability and Modifications

7.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

7.2 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features of the Service
• Update our software and systems
• Change our pricing structure with advance notice
• Suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, for violations of these terms or otherwise

• Limited users per module

Additional features and modules are available through paid subscriptions:

• Advanced scheduling features
• Enhanced menu management tools
• Additional user accounts

8.3 Billing and Cancellation

For paid subscriptions:

• Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BELMUTI XXI SL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9.3 Maximum Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL BELMUTI XXI SL'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BELMUTI XXI SL and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload to the Service

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us via email at schoolmenuseu@gmail.com.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees (for paid accounts)
• Extended periods of inactivity

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We may delete your account and data after a reasonable period
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
